This place was AWESOME! Stopped by on a Tuesday night around 6 pm. They had a good amount of orders going. Took around 35 min for a chicken sandwich and 3 tenders meal. I don’t know why people complain so much about long waits. There were 2 guys, with a lot of orders, making made to order fried chicken. Give them a break! Also, true greatness takes time. Here’s the review… Food: 5 stars! The chicken sandwich is the best chicken sandwich I’ve had in Chicago hands down. It is a Nashville sweet heat style sauce, so prepare for it to have that classic Nashville spiced oil with a little bit of honey sweetness. The rest was pickles, sauce, and bun, nice and simple and well done. My wife enjoyed her chicken tenders, but she really love the fries. She thinks they’re battered but I didn’t think so. Maybe some starch on the outside to make em a little extra crispy. Definitely 5 star food experience. Service: 4 stars! This place was busy an hour before close. Like I said, two guys working the place. One of them was on the POS and working phones too. The 4 stars on service is more for the management. Can we get these guys some back up or have a FOH person doing phones and POS? Atmosphere: 3 stars. This is basically a chicken shack. Great smells, no frills. Would not eat here with how limited seating is and how many people were standing around waiting. I’d love for there to be a cozier spot to eat because the sandwich fresh out the fryer has got to be insanely good. I still enjoyed the vibes and those smells. Once in a while, social media actually lives up to the hype. In this case, it absolutely did. I ordered the chicken sandwich it’s enough to feed four people. It is definitely worth a ride, but I would phone in the order as it’s about 20 minutes to get a sandwich. In this particular case, I didn’t mind because the crowd was incredibly friendly and anyone who had eaten here before said it’s worth the wait. I do love a good hot chicken sandwich and this is hands-down the best.

Been wanting to try this place for a HOT minute and it was worth the wait. Chicken sandwiches are so big they come in a cake box! Berwyn Hot sandwich has amazing seasoning on it but surprisingly no heat. Oak Park Cool sandwich was a great classic chicken sandwich. Having a mix of tots & fries was dope too. Plus, that punk sauce was fire! My friend said the fish & chips were just as good as when he had it back in Scotland and London. Definitely gotta go back but gotta find the right time since it took like 40 minutes to get our food. I like that it had a little parking lot, but the place is small with some window seats so I might not be able to bring my kid.

First time here. We tried both types of the chicken sandwiches offered, with a mix of the French fries and tater tots, the wings combo with the mac and cheese, and the chicken Pierre strips combo with the mashed potatoes and gravy. The food was very good, made fresh to order, and the sandwiches were very large in size, and the portions of everything else were of good size and plenty to share. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the coleslaw, and I wish I could have tried the other sauces, but they charge extra for each one and it is a bit on the pricey side but worth the trip. Would recommend. Parking is hard to find.

Best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Homemade lemonade is fire. Does take awhile to make chicken, so maybe order ahead. Sandwich was only available at lunch. Took us about 20 min from when we ordered. Staff are polite. Highly recommend the tots. The seasoning they put in the fries is something special. Some parking in the back & nearby. Inside is a counter stand set up with about 10 spots. No bathroom. Clean inside. Somewhat accessible.

This place has the best chicken and jumbo shrimp in town and great service. I went a couple weeks ago on a saturday evening with a line out the door but i made sure to order ahead. We had ordered 3 breast 5/5 a la cart, mac and cheese5/5, onion rings 5/5, jumbo shrimp plate came with fries some bread and they have lots of sauces to choose from everything was fresh and hot made to order you can tell. check out the sauces 5/5! The only issue was that i was missing a breast and received a thigh instead, also ordered some tator tots that were not in the bag. When i called the kindy lady on the phone said to take a couple pics and bring the receipt for missing food. I understand these type of things happen so im not going to knock this place for that mistakes happen. I do feel for the amount you pay orders should be checked as there being put in the bag like a second pair of eyes for the cook. Overall place has great food flavors and service!

I have been seeing this restaurant all over TikTok and had to stop in and try it. I went in and got the Berwyn chicken sandwich with tater tots and a large passion fruit lemonade. I was surprised by how much food I had I was able to make at least three meals out of it. Everything was delicious juicy chicken with crispy tater tots in a refreshing lemonade you can't beat it. I will definitely be making another trip to this location for some great food.
